Roleplay prompt for Mimo V2.5 pro
Info
Mimo is damn good at incorporating details from character cards, persona descriptions and lorebooks. As long as it makes sense that is.
This prompt works with V2.5 and V2.5 pro.
Here are the relevant differences in performance of these models.
V2.5 has amazing prose. Very fresh and easy to engage with. The downside, context coherency drops massively after 20K tokens of context. It will start to stumble over itself and mix up details that are relevant. Might not bug you... but it sure as hell annoyed me massively.
V2.5 pro has much better context coherency way above 20K context but the prose isn't as punchy.
Both models have the tendency to generate bigger and bigger replies the longer the roleplay is.
Both thrive when used with a good Long Term Memory System. Whether that's a chat lorebook, an Extension, or a decent summary prompt. Let me link you to my summary prompt here 😁
Providers are a big part of the performance. As far as me and my testers can tell, the most reliable providers are OpenRouter and Deepinfra. Via OpenRouter you can choose either Deepinfra or Xiaomi for uncensored roleplay.
Roleplay via Xiaomi API directly is heavily censored. No smut there.
TL/DR
Pro:
Good sense for storytelling. Can keep a secret and characters don't know EVERYTHING.
Amazing prose.
Good humor
Impressive context coherency.
Con:
Replies can get very veeeeery long.
Performance highly depends on provider.
Starts to stumble with more than two characters.
